How does the Quantum Fiber refer-a-friend program work?+
You share a referral link (the program runs on the Aklamio platform). A friend orders Quantum Fiber at a serviceable address, gets it installed, and keeps it active for 60 consecutive days. After that, both of you are paid up to $100 in cash — and Quantum Fiber also donates $10 to charity. Always confirm the current terms on quantumfiber.com.
How much is the Quantum Fiber referral reward?+
Up to $100 for the new customer and $100 for the referrer — paid as cash via PayPal or bank deposit (not a gift card or bill credit). Annual caps apply: $500 per referrer and $100 per referee per calendar year.
Is Quantum Fiber available at my address?+
Quantum Fiber is fiber-to-the-home, so it’s available only where the fiber has been built — address by address, across roughly 17 states. Enter your address on quantumfiber.com to check (our referral link drops you into that flow).
When does the referral reward arrive and how?+
It’s tied to the friend’s service, not their order: they must install and stay active for 60 consecutive days, then Aklamio audits the referral and pays both parties as cash to PayPal or a linked bank account. Full payout can take up to about 90 days.
Is the Quantum Fiber referral program legit?+
Yes — Refer-and-Earn is Quantum Fiber’s own program, run through Aklamio (a well-known referral platform). The link takes you to Quantum Fiber’s website where you order directly. You never share anything with us.
Is Quantum Fiber owned by AT&T now?+
Yes. AT&T acquired Quantum Fiber’s consumer fiber business from Lumen Technologies (formerly CenturyLink) in early 2026, so you’ll now see it branded “Quantum Fiber from AT&T.” The fiber network and plans are the same; the referral program is still live (terms can change, so check before relying on a figure).
Do I need to be a new customer?+
Yes — the referral reward is for new residential customers at an address not already on Quantum Fiber. Business accounts aren’t eligible. Existing customers can register on the Aklamio portal and earn $100 for referring others.
What speeds does Quantum Fiber offer?+
Symmetrical fiber (upload matches download) on the 500 Mbps and 1 Gig plans, with tiers running up to 8 Gig in select areas. Available speeds depend on your address, so check what’s live where you are.
Is there a contract or data cap?+
No annual contract, no early-termination fee, and no data caps. Quantum Fiber also promotes simple price-lock pricing on eligible plans, so your rate doesn’t creep up. Confirm current terms at checkout.
Can I self-install Quantum Fiber?+
In many markets, yes — where fiber is already wired to the home you can self-install (SmartNID + 360 WiFi, usually 10–15 minutes). If new wiring is needed, a technician visit is scheduled. You’ll see your options when you order.
What is Quantum Fiber 360 WiFi?+
360 WiFi is Quantum Fiber’s included whole-home WiFi — a modern Wi-Fi 7 gateway (plus mesh pods where needed) and an app to manage your network, designed to spread your fiber connection evenly across the home.
Do I get the reward if I sign up directly instead of via a link?+
Generally no — the reward only applies when your order carries a registered referrer’s code, which happens when you sign up through a valid referral link. Order directly and neither party is credited. Use the link.
Is there a limit on how many people I can refer?+
No limit on the number of referrals, but payouts are capped at $500 per referrer per calendar year (and $100 per referee). Earnings over $600/year are reported to the IRS via a 1099.
